Air Conditioning
Should you experience any issues with the Wi-Fi during your stay, please first ensure your device is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network using the password provided.
If you are connected to the correct network but are unable to access the internet, try disconnecting from the Wi-Fi on your device and then reconnecting using the supplied network name and password.
As with internet services in an island location, connection speeds and reliability can occasionally vary, and you may experience brief periods of slower speeds or interrupted connectivity during your stay.
If you’re still unable to connect, please contact Hamilton Island Holiday Apartments so our team can assist.
Each room at Papillon is fitted with its own individual air-conditioning unit and remote control, along with separate remotes for the ceiling fan and blinds.
If an air-conditioning unit begins to leak or drip water, please ensure all doors and windows are fully closed and set the temperature to no lower than 23°C.
If the leaking continues, please turn the affected unit off for approximately one hour before switching it back on.
If the issue persists after following these steps, please contact Hamilton Island Holiday Apartments and our team will be happy to assist.
Oven
If you’re having trouble operating the oven, please ensure the oven door is open and check that the timer/clock is switched on and correctly set, as the oven may not operate otherwise.
If you’re still unable to get the oven working after checking these settings, please contact Hamilton Island Holiday Apartments on and our team will be happy to assist.
TV Troubleshooting
If you experience any issues with the TV during your stay, particularly a “Weak or No Signal” message, try completing a channel scan to refresh the available channels.
If the TV is not responding, check the remote batteries and try switching the TV on manually using the power button on the unit.
If you’re still unable to resolve the issue, please contact Hamilton Island Holiday Apartments .
Power
There are multiple switchboards located throughout the property, however these are not accessible to guests.
If the power trips at any time during your stay, please contact Hamilton Island Holiday Apartments on 1800 135 539 and our team will assist with getting the issue resolved.
Rubbish & Recycling
Please dispose of all rubbish in the designated bins located at the start of the driveway, ensuring general waste and recycling are separated appropriately.
Please avoid leaving rubbish outside or on balconies at any time, as this can quickly attract cockatoos and other island wildlife.
