The Free Island Shuttle

Even if you have a buggy, the complimentary Island Shuttle is another convenient way to travel around Hamilton Island.

The shuttle operates daily and services popular locations including Marina Village, Catseye Beach, Reef View Hotel, Whitsunday Apartments, Yacht Harbour, One Tree Hill and many other stops across the island. Two shuttle routes operate throughout the day, making it easy to reach most attractions and accommodation.

Discover Hamilton Island on Foot

Although having a buggy is incredibly convenient, many of Hamilton Island's most popular attractions are surprisingly close together.

​

The Marina Village, Catseye Beach, Resort Centre, restaurants, cafés and walking trails can all be explored on foot, making it easy to spend the day wandering at your own pace. The stroll between Catseye Beach and Marina Village takes around 10 minutes and is one of the island's most popular walks.

​

Walking is also one of the best ways to discover hidden lookouts, tropical gardens and the relaxed atmosphere that makes Hamilton Island so special.
