Wi-Fi Help:

Air Conditioning

If you experience difficulty connecting to the Wi-Fi, please first ensure your device is connected to the HIHAGuest network using the password provided.

If you’re connected to the correct network but the internet is not working, locate the modem - generally found on the kitchen bench or near the TV - switch it off, wait approximately 30 seconds, then turn it back on. Allow a few minutes for the modem to reconnect before trying again.

As with internet services in an island location, connection speeds and reliability can occasionally vary, and you may experience brief periods of slower speeds or interrupted connectivity during your stay.

If you’re still unable to connect after restarting the modem, please contact Hamilton Island Holiday Apartments so our team can assist.

If you experience any issues with the air conditioning during your stay, there are a few simple steps that may help.

If the unit begins to leak or drip water, please ensure all doors and windows are completely closed and set the temperature to no lower than 23°C. Allow the system some time to settle.

If the leaking continues, switch the air conditioning off for approximately one hour before turning it back on.

Should the issue continue after following these steps, please contact Hamilton Island Holiday Apartments and we will be happy to assist.

Oven

Before using the oven, please ensure the power switch located on the wall near the sink is turned ON, as the oven will not operate unless this switch is activated.

If the oven still isn’t working, please ensure the oven door is open and check that the timer/clock is switched on and correctly set, as these settings may also prevent the oven from operating.

If you’re still unable to get the oven working after checking the above, please contact Hamilton Island Holiday Apartments and our team will be happy to assist.

TV Troubleshooting

If you experience any issues with the TV during your stay, particularly a “Weak or No Signal” message, try completing a channel scan to refresh the available channels.

If the TV is not responding, check the remote batteries and try switching the TV on manually using the power button on the unit.

If you’re still unable to resolve the issue, please contact Hamilton Island Holiday Apartments .

Power

Power / Switchboard:
The property’s switchboard is located inside a locked cupboard and is not accessible to guests.

If the electricity trips at any time during your stay, please contact Hamilton Island Holiday Apartments on 1800 135 539 and our team will assist with checking the switchboard and restoring the power.

Rubbish & Recycling

Please dispose of all rubbish in the designated bins located at the start of the driveway, ensuring general waste and recycling are separated appropriately.

Please avoid leaving rubbish outside or on balconies at any time, as this can quickly attract cockatoos and other island wildlife.
